The Rover SD1 is an industrial classic. It was created and built by the now defunct British Leyland. A miracle that it ever came into reality and true a classic that was owned and cherished by so many! But what happened to this icon of British engineering? Here we look at the bitter tale of two sides - The good and the bad. And why this classic car created by a counrty with brilliant engineering skills and industrial ability all went so wrong.

At a time when Margaret Thatcher was relatively new to us, when Concorde was roaming the skies relatively freely and when the Human League were number 1 with a video showing off the SD1 - What was really happening?

Editor's Note: 'HARD TIMES' dictates that this article is not finished! It probably never will be. But to help me to get somewhere near to the conclusion your help would be much appreciated!
